Australia: Evaluation of the Eyre Peninsula Regional Strategy, Eyre Peninsula Regional Strategy Committee, 1999 - 2000

The overall objective was to assess the success of the Federal and State funded Eyre Peninsula Regional Strategy. The Eyre Regional Strategy Committee required the further development of defined outputs, as well as assistance in monitoring and further development of the program implementation over the three years. The evaluation was based on a participatory approach with extensive consultation. The major stakeholders were: DPIE, PIRSA, Rural Adjustment Scheme, NHT, NLP, the Eyre Peninsula community, and industry groups. The evaluation was designed to collect information on performance in relation to financial, social, technical and environmental targets.
