World Wide wins two consulting contracts under the China Australia Governance Program (CAGP)

World Wide has commenced the Assisting Market Reforms to Address Regional Protectionism Project under the CAGP. This project involves working with the Department of Market Systems Development, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of China, to improve the knowledge and awareness of MSD/MOFCOM’s staff of relevant Australian and Chinese experience. The objective of this project is to support the development of implementation options for reducing regional trade protection in China.

The second project involves a Working Visit to Australia on Fiscal Transfer Payments, by senior members of the National People’s Congress and the Budget Affairs Commission. The objective of the Working Visit is to familiarise the officials with the policy and operational aspects of the system of intergovernmental financial relations in Australia. Delegates will visit national, state and local government agencies in Canberra and Sydney.
