World Wide completes 3rd training program for Iraqi Ministry of Finance

AusAID contracted World Wide to deliver Public Sector Financial Management Training to 20 officials of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance in Australia in May 2009. The training involved the delivery of expert presentations, site visits to local, state and federal government agencies as well as workshops and round table discussions. While the training focused primarily on budgeting, public sector accounting standards, taxation and auditing, it also covered public sector management topics such as strategic planning, human resources management, e-government, organisational change, and anti-corruption.
