World Wide commences the Mid Term Review of the Philippines-Australia Partnership for Economic Governance Reforms (PEGR) in June 2008.

World Wide has recently commenced the MTR for the PEGR, with two Directors (Cathy Deane and Paul Verwoert) currently working with an international and local team in Manila.

The PEGR was launched by the Governments of the Philippines (GOP) and Australia (GOA) in March 2005. Its goal is to promote good economic governance in the Philippines to enhance economic growth and ensure effective delivery of services to the poor. The estimated contribution of the Australian government to PEGR Facility is A$30 million over five years (2005-2010), with two core objectives to improve fiscal management and enhance the environment for private sector development.
