Training course for Samoan Public Prosecutors a success
World Wide and the Adelaide-based Legal and Justice Project Alliance were recently engaged by People and Projects NZ to design, develop and deliver a NZAID-funded training course on Evidentiary Issues for Public Prosecutors for the Samoan Attorney-General’s Department. This course focused on transferring skills to the Samoan legal system and work environment. The course was designed and delivered by South Australian trainers Ms Joanne Fleer and Mr Martin Anders, from the Legal and Justice Project Alliance, in partnership with a Samoan counterpart trainer. The successful course was held in Apia throughout May and June 2007.
