Public Sector Management and Governance Training: Senior staff from Iraq's MoF

During July – August, World Wide successfully delivered a four week training program in Australia for 19 officials of Iraq’s Ministry of Finance on Public Sector Management.

The program commenced in Melbourne, then Canberra and finished in Sydney. Topics include public sector financial management, budgeting, human resource management, New Public Management, good governance, strategic planning, risk management, and information technology. World Wide Director Paul Verwoert was responsible for the overall management, working with a specialist Team Leader and World Wide support staff.

The training was funded by AusAID under the Rehabilitation Assistance Facility: Iraq (RAFI).
