PRC's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Visits Australia

The PRC's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security recently met with government and regulatory agencies, universities and NGOs in Australia on the design, delivery and evaluation of social security and pension schemes. The Ministry is designing systems to support migrant workers in China and visited Australia in May 2009 to learn from the Australian experience as well as receive technical advice from social security experts. The working visit was funded by the China Australia Governance Program (an AusAID initiative) and World Wide was sub-contracted to design and deliver the program in Australia.
