PNG Nurses Degree Program Graduation

World Wide recently hosted the graduation ceremony of the third Nurses Post-Registration Conversion Degree program in Port Moresby in June 2006.

This exciting program, involving strong in-country support and staff from Monash University, provided an opportunity for senior PNG health professionals to upgrade their knowledge and skills. The program, through the graduates, will make an immediate contribution to the Provincial health system in PNG. Anecdotal evidence about program impact indicate improvements in patient outcomes, patient care and professional relationships.
