Human Rights Training for Government of Iraq

World Wide is delivering a four week training program in Australia on international human rights law to 17 officials of various agencies of the Government of Iraq. The program is part of ongoing capacity building assistance to the Ministry of Human Rights on international human rights law, humanitarian law, the various UN human rights instruments, human rights reporting obligations under international treaties as well as Australia's human rights, justice and legal system. The program is funded by AusAID under the Rehabilitation Assistance Facility: Iraq (RAFI).
