Government of PRC Studies Australia's Superannuation System

World Wide has delivered a working visit to Australia by 10 senior officials from China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and from various provinces. The delegation examined some of the regulatory and systems issues surrounding superannuation in Australia in the context of reforming China's pension system for migrant workers. This activity was funded by AusAID under the China Australia Governance Program and involved inputs from Centrelink, AMP, Australian industry super funds, IBM, Superratings and academic experts from the Centre for Pensions and Superannuation at the University of New South Wales.
