The diversity of its client base and spread of sector activities has enabled World Wide to develop considerable expertise in project implementation and management, providing strong, consistent support to both our clients and our consultants in the field.

In-house staff undertake consulting work for clients and keep abreast of international changes and development assistance policies. For external consultants, World Wide maintains a database of national and international experts. The database, utilised to supplement in-house expertise, ensures that proven and qualified individuals are engaged in each project or activity.

Approach

World Wide understands that its staff and consultants are the most important elements for success. The organisation adopts a dynamic, innovative and participative approach to its work and supports its staff and partners in the field. The various models of development assistance need to be understood and then adapted to suit each country, sector and/or cultural situation.

Staff respect the cultural and religious context of the countries in which they work, and take particular care to ensure that appropriate design outcomes, training programs or implementation strategies are used. This is achieved through the use of consultative methods, through well briefed and qualified consultants, by providing access to the latest country data and information, and through high quality work practices.

To ensure efficiency and to maintain accessibility, World Wide uses the latest in project management systems, financial management systems and communication technology, as well as specialist procurement software. In achieving successful outcomes, World Wide approaches all projects, consultancy services and training in a flexible manner. As a part of planning and resourcing, World Wide balances the use of its in-house technical resources with those of its national and international associates. This ensures that the best, most appropriate and highest capability team is mobilised in response to client and partner needs.
